With 333 horsepower and an 8spd automatic transmission this car loves the open road, rush hour stop and go not so much.
disclosure:
A known issue with these is a shifting issue in low gears in traffic jam type traffic. It is like it can't make up its mind which gear to stay in around 2nd or 3rd.
I have had it to the dealer and two other transmission shops and have been told there is nothing broken with the transmission but its a programming issue with the computer module.
According to the transmission techs there was a service bulletin released about such explaining that the computer module was not compensating for the expected wear over time on the clutch packs.
I had the computer updated about 2 years ago and it seemed to have solved the problem. It will rarely occur sometime now when a different person drives it after it has been driven by someone else for a period.
That being said I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle across the country. It performs and handles beautifully both on the highway as well as country roads.
CD player does not work.
