is it SA/DA? Does everything function as it should?

Yes it does, when I bought it I knew these were prone to mainspring guide assembly failure due to the plastic head. I went ahead and ordered the steel head main spring and guide assembly from Numrich (#276950E) and installed it even though the plastic one was functional. Gun is in good shape with little cylinder wear. It does have a scratch on the right side (3rd pic) where I fat fingered it putting in the new spring. These are built like a tank and with the upgraded spring should last a lifetime. Research these , this is basically the same as a 929 only nickel.
