I picked up an interesting Winchester recently, mainly with the idea of having it bored out to .338/06...but have decided to go a different direction.

Its a Winchester 70 Ranger in .270, with a "G" prefix serial number. Original stock has been replaced with a bedded Brown Precision synthetic stock, which weighs 1 lb 6.8oz. Barrel has been cut down to roughly 19-19.5", and has a KDF style brake (overall length is around 21-22"). Rifle with a set of Weaver bases weighs 6lb 8.9oz, and has very good balance.

Rifle is in good condition, but the stock does show some wear and a few marks/chips. I have not shot the rifle, and cannot give a round count. Drilled & tapped for iron sights, but none are included. Comes exactly as pictured, nothing else is included.
