Marlin Dark Series 1895, chambered in 45-70

Has a small spot about the size of a quarter on the stock where the paint chipped off. But other than that it’s in excellent shape. Scope and 38 rounds of Hornady Leverevolution included.

You should offer it to whom ever sent you that estimated valuation.
I believe truegunvalue.com gathers data from all of the web on internet sales to compile data to support their prices…. It could be wrong, but so could your opinion. Maybe this isn’t the audience for it, but that doesn’t mean it won’t pull it elsewhere. I believe a gentlemen on there just sold 3 different Darks, all of them for 2k a piece in less desirable calibers.

GB completed listings would indicate the price is well within the ballpark going rates which is the most accurate source of current market value.
Right, I took the most recents off of there as well, none in 45-70 cheaper than my listed price. I’ll probably throw it on there instead. I just wasn’t looking to pay them and deal with shipping. Is what it is.
