This is a non working Marlin Firearms Company .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic from the 1950's. Rifle jammed with round in the chamber and I was not able to disassemble per the instructions. The Marlin Model 88 was made from 1948 to 1956. It was Marlin's first tubular magazine, .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle and loaded through a hole in the butt plate. Was very accurate rifle when working.
Nice wood stock and availability of parts. Good for parts or "gunsmith it yourself".
