Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/fs-marlin-model-80.1900562/
Item Name: FS Marlin model 80
Location: Stephens County
Zip Code: 30577
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $160.00
Caliber: 22 short, long, long rifle
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: This is a Marlin model 80. It’s pre serial number with a “DL” date code. If I’ve researched correctly, that means it was manufactured in April of 1968. It’s walnut stocked. The stock hasn’t been refinished. It’s got a few light handling marks. There is one small gouge (see photo). There’s no rust and very minimal bluing loss. The worst bluing loss is near the rear of the receiver where the bolt slides rearward (see photo). It comes with the original, 7 round magazine with steel follower. The magazine has some bluing loss. The bullseye is there and it has factory sling swivels. The bad on this rifle is that someone electropenciled “NYC 18-70” on the receiver (see photo).
It shoots well and is good shape to be over 50 years old. Not really looking for trades as I’m trying to fund the purchase of another Marlin rifle. I travel regularly from Stephens county to Atlanta if that helps with meeting anyone interested. Reasonable offers welcomed. Thanks for looking.
