Item Description: For sale is a Pre war French MAS-36 in 7.5 French. The stock cartouche is dated 1940 while the barrel is dated 1939. All matching serial numbers except the magazine floorplate and the bayonet. In very good condition. Action is super smooth and this gun is a joy to shoot. Comes with a French sling. It is right on the money. The bore has excellent rifling. For some reason this rifle is missing the stacking rod. Has ALL the pre war features:
Milled triggerguard
Milled magazine floorplate
No last round bolt hold open magazine follower
Early type rear sight
Milled barrel band with two sling attachment points
Milled front nosecap with protective ears
Barrel not counterbored at factory
