Item Description: The Remington 11 48 was made between 1948 and stopped production in 1968. Approximately 455600 were produced. This is an auto loading shotgun with a recoiling barrel like the A 5 from browning. Its a 12 gauge with a 18.5 inch barrel made in Feb 1964, holds 4 rounds plus one in the chamber. Looks like someone may have cut the barrel down, barrel says full choke, i don't know, see photos and determine for your self. Seems to be in good condition but I haven't shot it, been in my safe for 5 years collecting dust. I have read that they like stout rounds. Would make a great home defense shotgun. Need to see a Ga carry permit. Picked up in Smyrna.
