Gotcha with the title,
It is a very nice, Nickel Plated (Not Original), Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 that was shipped from the factory around 1967
I received it a few years ago in a trade. I upgraded the Trigger, Hammer, and Internals with parts from a Model 27 that I purchased for parts.
Since it is not the original Factory Finish, I figured I can make it as close to a Model 27 as possible.
This 4" Nickel Plated Beauty is every bit as nice as a Model 27 without the top checkering of course but, internally she is all M27 with it's buttery smooth trigger action you would expect in both Double Action and Single Action.
The Target Stocks, Target Hammer, Target Trigger, and Adjustable Rear Sights will be perfect for your N-Frame .357 Magnum shooting experience. If you want something as good as any M27 and don't want to pay M27-2 prices well, here is a beautiful 28-2 for ya.
