I love both of these guns, They both put a bullet exactly where I want it to be, and always have.
I bought the 06 Brand new in 2010, I've shot it about 35-40 times. Love firing it, and the Factory pad on the stalk makes it feel 1/3 less kick than an M1. I've never fired a round through this with less than 2-3 mins after the last. I've cleaned the gun every time I've taken it out, It's pretty much brand new. I'll also be selling this with a box of Federal, a box of Fusion, and 3 boxes of Core Lokt 185 grain. Only issue with the gun is it has a crappy scope on it, I put the other scope on a gun I sold, and replaced this guns scope with a 4x 16 walmart scope to try some 400m shots and found that You get what you pay for. Gun comes with the bipod.
The Marlin I traded a rolling chassis for. It has a Simmons scope on it and I've probably shot it around 60 times, It's a lever gun, I love it. It ALWAYS puts the round where I wanted it, every time, all the time. At the 100 yd range I touched 5 out of 6 bullets together with the 6 not even an inch off. Great gun.
Both of these are perfect hunting guns, I'm ONLY getting rid of them because I just got to the point where I can start deploying and would rather just move to an AR-15 for fun factor.
