Item Name: FS Tarpon 100 Sit-On-Top Kayak & Accessories
Location: Marietta
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $600
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 (10' long, red) that's been used less than 10 times on Allatoona & the Chattahoochee. This is a very nice kayak, go look it up. As for condition, outside of buying new, it's probably as nice as you're going to find. Why am I selling it? I never use it. My better half likes fishing too, so if I'm going she's going.
It's absolutely water tight
It's never been dragged across concrete or asphalt
It spends its time in my climate controlled basement
Sprayed down every time after used
Weighs about 50 lbs, 1 man should be able to carry it
Fits into the bed of a Tacoma no problem
I've never compressed/squished the hull with tie downs
It's been paddled across wide portions of Allatoona, it did fine. It's very stable, but I never could stand in it. It's stable enough to swing your feet off the side and sit there with them in the water though, which is nice if you're on the water for a while. The seat is super comfortable and adjustable as are the foot stops.
Everything below is included in the price. I show the retail price in parenthesis so you know what you're getting.
Kayak ($675 and up)
Yak Attack 6' stakeout/push pole ($70)
Paddle (starts at $50, yes it's separate when you buy new)
2 RAM balls ($25)
1 Rod holder ($25)
5 lb anchor w/50' of rope (say $20)
Feel free to make me an offer, but please don't waste our time low balling me. If you want add'l pictures, I'm more than happy to provide. Located in Marietta.
