Item Description: Travler 8,000 lb winch with hitch cradle.
This is a tractor supply brand winch. With the hitch cradle, it is ready to install in any standard trailer hitch. It saved my butt more than once in my old 2WD. Other than that we used it occasionally for pulling bushes.
Missing the original hook, the small device on the end of the cable is a piece of tree gear called a quickie. It is an extremely strong (6,744 lb) micro shackle type device.
This setup works great, but lugging it around and installing/uninstalling is not for the faint of heart. The whole thing must be 110lb+
Can be hard wired in to truck or you can make your own extension cables. I always used a set of extremely heavy duty jumper cables to get power to the back of the truck because it was a very occasional use item.
$240 with the quickie shackle $220 without it and you can buy a new hook!
