Item Description: Vintage Craftsman machinist chest, late 50s early 60s.
Insides nice, don't have the key, but can get them for $10 online. Nice collection of stickers on it. 21w x 9d x 13 h

No, I got it from a friend. Don't know where he got it. May just keep it, but it's heavy empty and I won't be moving it full of tools.

FYI : you can go to any locksmith store, (sometimes lowes/HD) and buy a new lock with 2keys for $5-7 .....they are easy to replace. Most of the time it is just a clip.

Nice box - have you got the dimensions (W & D) ?

Added dimensions. All of the locks I've looked at won't work with the latch. May just order a key.

Im may have a use for it, i need to check to see if it is any larger than the one i have now, and see if it will fit the space i keep a truck box in.
Lock isn’t important to me, i lock the box i put it in anyway.

Only thing about no key is it holds the front panel on.

So the front panel cover just sits there, nothing really holds it in place if you can’t lock it?

Ha! I just noticed the Blue Ribbon Cycles sticker....i knew the owners , went to school with his son. I hung out at BRC alot in the younger days when i rode a lot. Thats cool!

Just a ball detent , but doesn't really hold it if you move it. Had masking tape around it when I got it.
