Yep cordless and doesn't require gas, oil, or a spark plug!

Engraved in the wood handle is 'TRIMMER' and 'BALL BEARING', on the metal parts is 'made in the usa' and 'SHELBYVILLE, INDIANA'

Here it is apparently made by the Amercian Lawn Mower Company which was established in 1895 and still makes reel type push mowers. A bargain at $750! I better edit my ad pronto!
