Item Description: This gun is one of the first PT1911s to hit the market. A buddy of mine who is a Arizona State Trooper purchased it new 12 years ago, and I bought it off him a year later.
Over the past 11 years I have done everything with this gun. I spent the first 3 months I owned it trying to break it. After that it became my EDC for around 5 years. I used it when helping my dad out with CCW classes, I hunted with it on my side, and used it in a few fun games back in the day.
No clue how many rounds this gun has seen but I know it's in the thousands. Finish is well warn, and it has dings here and there but the gun doesn't stop. The checkering on the MSH has been bear on with a hammer to make it not so aggressive. Perhaps I drove a tent stake or two with it..
Safety has been replaced with a Kings single side safety. Mainspring housing/magwell is Kimber. Grips are Kimber warrior grips....I think...they have been on there for a decade.
Best of all, 12 years later and I still have the box and docs. LOL
