The gun was bought from a good friends dad. Used like a doormat. Has scuffs, idiot marks, and some very light surface rust (almost fossilized into the gun) lol.....Serial number search of the gun confirms its birth year of 1975..

Minus the cosmetic wear the gun works great! Has been occasionally cleaned internally from what I see (rifling is great) and all moving parts are seasoned into position.

Overall. its a good gun with clear wear and age.

Looking to find it a new home and adopt another revolver!

What ya got??

Note: I took close ups of gun to clearly show the surface marks and such. Hope it doesnt accent the image too much but gun actually looks better in person.

If you change your mind again, I'll buy it for your original listed cash price. I just don't have any cool revolvers to offer as trade. Unless an old H&R .22mag with a 12 inch barrel tickles your fancy....It's really quite nice....

Will do. Again, apologies for confusion . Figured people would take a trade up over a cash price when I first posted ... I was wrong.

Thanks :)

A lot of cool offers but nothing really what I asked. Someone offered me a fourwheeler that needed a top end rebuilt...

That redlevel ****** sent me 3 different smith pics, and said he actually wanted to only trade one....

I was ready to let it drop, but since you chose to back out on a gun you offered for sale, then to lie about our pm exchange, I feel like full disclosure is needed.

I pm'ed with an offer of the cash price that you explicitly stated in your OP, or to possibly trade a Model 10-5, or a Model 19-3, or a 15-3, plus cash on my part.
You wanted pictures, said you needed to "stew," and made it clear that you had "reconsidered" your cash price, which by the way, you had explicitly stated in your first post. Meanwhile, I decided to keep my other two revolvers.

I responded that I decided not to trade the Model 19 or Model 15, but I sent you a picture of a very nice 10-5, with an offer of the gun plus $175 for your
commander.
Here is my "weird" S&W, and the "poor" picture.
