I have a "1970 Marlin 336C 100 Year Anniversary Model in 30-30" that I will be taking to the next gun show for sale.
It has a 3 x 10 Bushnell Variable Power Scope mounted on it and is a tack driver. Has spent a few hunts in deer stands, but is in near perfect condition for a 52 year old collector rifle. Functions perfectly. I is a "pre safety model" (can't remember the exact term) which means that the first click on pullback of the hammer is the safety. Apparently this is very desirable feature for those who know the 336-C.
