GAP makes hammers but so do a lot of other shops. Mark at Accurate Ordnance and Jered at American Precision Arms will make an equally awesome rifle right here in state. Also, Robert Gradous has a thing where you go to his shop and build your own rifle so you can see the work that goes into it.

When it comes to Custom rifles, for your first one try to stay as Local as you can. My First custom was with a guy in Kansas, a total Cluster F of an ordeal. What was supposed to take 5 months took 2.5 years and no rifle was ever built. With you being in Dahlonaga you are close to us up in our Dawsonville shop, or Jared at APA in Jefferson, or AO in Winder. Are you looking for a Tactical or Hunting rifle or possibly a multi purpose one?

My son just got his rifle from Hill Country Rifles. We are going to try it out this Weekend.

So many great shops...find shortest build completion date and go. Tons of great builders. Im partial to APA for the record.and Vortex g2 is still the king
