Ga Alligator season-2018

I’ll book with my buddy Redneck1 next year and then join my co-workers for a guy’s trip. We’re going to book a campsite nearby and try it DIY for the other guys who have tags. Any of y’all who are going then are welcome to stop by and hang out or even crash there.

My sons 9 footer in 2014

My 8’9” sow from 2014. Two days after Biker’s Son tagged out and one day
after my buddy Steve killed an 11’7” bull with Redneck1. Steve helped out during my
hunt and we’ve been good friends ever since. Chris was on fire as always.
I had an 11-12 footer hooked up before we killed mine, but he got down in
some timber and came unbuttoned. He jumped like a doggone Tarpon
just before he dove. We got a real good look at him since he was right next
to the boat when he jumped.

The one that I got made two
really good runs after the initial hook-up and almost death
rolled into the boat once we got her hooked up on the big rod.
I had to free spool and let her wrap herself up until she quit. One crossbow
bolt and one 45 slug later sealed the deal.

usually takes 4 to get zone 2.3 might get you on 3 or 4,not much public land on those zones then its the coast and it gets a little harder to bag a big un.Gators getting smarter and the shining early before season really alerts em,something that is 40 or 5o years old aint dumb

DNR just sent out a survey for people that forgot to enter so they could still get a point. I got 3 now. I'm guessing there were alot like me that never got an email or knew when the application period was.
