The curfews don't bother me because I'm inside anyways at that time. But like other's, WHY? Nobody really goes out at that time so how will that stop the spread? Makes no sense. It makes more sense to close businesses and make people stay inside during the day when everyone is out doing their daily routine.

In states on lockdown I've heard yes. I saw a post out of California, they were ticketing people who were out and didn't have a reason to be, such as essential job, grocery store, doctor visit, along those lines.

The late night curfew thing, at least to my mind, is aimed at clubs and bars. Seems to me that if a virus were to spread, it would spread more easily in places where intimate contact and lack of inhibitions were coupled together. Also, it does make policing somewhat easier, knowing that if someone is out after curfew, it's an easy and immediate Terry stop.

I get the advisement to avoid large groups but why the late night curfew? does the virus only travel at night, what gives??

It's actually silly because this County pretty much shuts down after 9pm anyway.
