Ga Gun Owners Coalition & Dorr Brothers

Years ago, there was a concealed carry bill that Georgia Carry was trying to get passed. They had a meeting with the committee that was going to decide if the bill was going to the floor for a vote. The committee chair was a woman who was on our side and she leaned towards getting the bill passed.
A guy named Patrick Parsons, the "president" of GA Gun Owners was leading a group of his members around the inside of the capitol screaming the name of the committee chairman (and some of the other members) and demanding she present herself to them.
I forget what was contained in the bill but recall that Georgia Carry was working to get as many restricted places off the list as we could before anything resembling Constitutional Carry was passed. The theory was that if CC passed it would become harder to get restrictions removed.
So Parsons and his misguided idiots were stomping around during the committee meeting shouting demands, making threats about the bill that was being discussed because it wasn't about Constitutional Carry.
Madam Chairman ended the meeting early and resigned later because she wasn't there to be threatened.

Parsons still brags about getting her to "retire".

Man, is that one thread going to spill over into every single thing on this site? Y'all remind me of 7th graders out in the school yard.

Hey, anybody heard of this group or these guys? Just saw a video about their scams here:
I have never heard of either.
Yes I have. Kind of felt like the Dorh brothers were not on the up and up. Makes me wonder about Patrick Parsons. Who I think is working for MTG. Been donating $20 a month. I’ll stop that asap.

Wow, I'm learning a lot! ODT doesn't vet venders. Glad I do.

All kidding aside, ODT is under no obligation to vet the vendors, dictate pricing guidelines, or any other bs that people whine about. ODT is obligated to follow the rules of the venue, terms of the insurance carrier, and of course local, state, and federal laws that apply.
