I tried to tell the ODT 2 years ago that using the seal without permission was a no no and everybody jumped on my ass about it being ok so this is a bit funny to me.

We were told this as well, we emailed in to make sure we followed everything correctly and no one would get in trouble for using it. I know they have made runs on these before, one that I know of.

I have seen a few people express interest having the Battle Flag engraved on a receiver. I would also be interested in this, but to be clear the Battle Flag is not the "Stars and Bars" but rather a Battle Flag. The Battle Flag looks like this:

I would also not be opposed to this, but I think I would rather have the current Georgia Flag.

What is wrong with calling the battle flag "stars and bars"? Ever heard of the "stars and stripes"?

I don't have a dog in this fight because I would not buy a GA lower, but I think the stars and bars would limit the marketability down the road.

That's a shame that the current administration doesn't feel that the seal is appropriate, seems that a citizen should be able to affix the seal on any weapon deemed for protection of the law adiding. There are some around from a previous run of lowers, in case anyone is interested in the final product.
