ATL sports are cursed because of that liberal Ted Turner. He sold his soul to the devil to get the Olympics and the 95 WS win. He closed the deal when he merged Turner Broadcasting with Time Warner on Oct 10, 1996. 2 weeks later we lost the WS to the Yanks.
Unfortunately his the curse spread all the way to Athens and it has still yet to be lifted.
Maybe 2 ATL teams with Venezuelan stars (aka socialist) can lift the curse this year.
