Just finished assembling my SBR- one problem, original gas block is no good. Looking for recommendations for a good low profile adjustable gas block. Going on a 7.5" AR (5.56) currently has a KAK muzzle device but eventually should wear a can ( hence adjustable). Thanks yall.

No good as in the rifle doesn't cycle correctly or as in its over gassing? Lol

As in it blew off the gas tube and even tightened down all the way it can be moved with your fingers-and no effort. And that it the one from the factory as far as i know.....

Man I never heard of that happening. Lol. The issue ur gonna run into is adjusting the gas block and locking the set screw once it's adjusted all under the handguard. Unless u get a noveske switchblock or something like that or a fortis switch rail so u can remove the handguard quickly. I know a lot of people use adjusted gas blocks so they may chime in with some other ideas. I know syrac adjustable gas block has a "detent" so u don't have to mess with a locking set screw. So if u have a long allen wrench, it could be adjusted under the handguard easily I think. Have u thought about the lmt enhanced bolt carrier and using a standard gas block?

Isn't your adjustable bcg a Gemtech?

It is but it's only for unsppressed/suppressed settings so even if the rifle is overgassed, in the suppressed setting the rifle won't cycle. The LMT enhanced bolt carrier has an extra gas port so it will cut back on the gas but will run fine with or without a can.

Try SLRRifleworks.com . I bought one of their low profile adjustable gas blocks for an AR 10 platform build in 6.5 creedmoor and I could not be happier with it.
