Around 30 cents... But that was in the late '50s
During the gas price wars of the late 60's I remember seeing a Phillips 66 station on Shallowford road with regular (good old leaded) for 24.9 .

Gas wars in the late 60's put it at $0.179 a gallon at local Tenneco gas station. (The attendant also pumped it and checked your oil and cleaned your windshield.)

It was around

.35 when I started.
I remember .17 cents+full service,T.V. stamps, green coffee cup. Now you get your credit card hacked,no service, dirty water to wash your own windshield and no stamps. You could even go in and axe for info and understand people, not anymore.Sorry no English.Ya tell me things are better.

Yep, also had free air too. Nobody stole the air hose and had respect for store owners too. Nope it ain’t better. All in for make America Great Again.

Down here (at several stations) the attendant nicked your fan belt and sold you a new one and "said he put oil in " when the can was really empty. I play cards with several old men who owned stations and they tell some stories.
