Gave the new .44 a shine!

Soviet that is a sweet looking Smith! Mother's with elbow grease and we will be calling you jmac jr. I have not shot a Smith with those type of grooved grips but the rubber Pachmyer's on Dad's (mine now) old 629-1 did tame the beast a lot. I'm still a sucker for polished blue steel and wood. Your revolver is a work of beauty and engineering. Enjoy it well.

RamRoddoc, nice wheel guns there! I do have a question, who makes the target stocks on your blued Smith? Very nice looking stocks.

They are the factory grips that came with the revolver (Model 29-10). They are thinner and to me feel better but I like the older bulky target grips from back in the day, takes me back to pleasent times in my youth.
 
sweet hand cannons dudes..that said, I just could not bring myself to like the .44 round. Not trying to sound like a puss, but that's just too much round for me. More of a toy than anything, don't think I could be effective at all with it
