Me as well . I had 3 series 1 guns at one point and never the first problem. I think half of the bashers just repeat what they read on the internet. I wonder how the feel if I tell the story of my Dads series 70 that the Colt rep suggest he sell at a gunshow when he could not fix it to run a magazine of ammo.

That's a slap in the face to John Moses Browning. A complete molestation to a fine gun and a bastardization to the 1911 platform as a whole. Not a fan at all. Not to mention politically incorrect at this point in time. Wish I had two of them on to **** on and one to cover it up with. However, this is coming from a guy that thinks a 1911 in 9mm is cursing the lord himself. So this whole rant is just to stir the pile. LOL
