Geography

Fulton has the weirdest shape ever! Most people think of the "metro area" as being inside the perimeter. I would not categorize Alpharetta as in the metro area -- it's a drive up there -- yet it's still in Fulton.

Yet I would. :boink:
Yep I know it's been posted before, but seriously folks, study a map of Georgia. So many ads listed in the wrong location, it's frustrating!

I'll see something I really like listed in Central GA, which is where Macon is located, and when I click on it they live in Vila Rica or something. :censored:
Locations are useless. The best option is to use search by zip and distance. Don't think that's available in Tapatalk.

I think of metro Atlanta as the places where lots of people drive in for work to the city. Alpharetta is definitely metro, as is basically all of Gwinnett, all of Cobb. Look up the US census definition of the Atlanta metropolitan area, and what is covered by the Atlanta Regional Commission. Or another way to look at it is if you have to get your car emissions tested, you live in metro Atlanta.
