Dan 4010 and I are giving away one copy of our book: Georgia Weapons Laws: A Review of the Laws with a Layman's Summary.

This book was written this year and went to press in April 2014. It has an update section that covers the changes that HB-60 made in our laws effective July 1, and it also describes how HB-826 would have allowed for school and college campus carry by GWL license holders IF the Governor and the Attorney General and the Code Revision Commission would have put HB-826 into effect.

Our book covers all of Georgia's laws about buying, transporting, and carrying weapons, as well as the legal doctrine of deadly force and when it is permissible to use lethal force in defense of self or others.

Each law from the O.C.G.A. published Code is reprinted, but with our emphasis in the form of certain words and phrases made bold or italicized or underlined.

Then each law is followed by a Layperson's Summary that discusses the law in plain English, points out quirks in the law, and cross-references other Code sections or subsections that deal with the same subject matter.

This book is available for purchase from dozens of stocking gun dealers and survival / prep shops in Georgia, and it is being sold through the GeorgiaCarry.Org online store (where a portion of the proceeds goes back to benefit GCO).

You can read more about the book, about the authors, and view a couple of sample pages of the text at the Urban Survival Center website: www.UrbanSurvivalCenter.net.
Here's a link to the specific page of that site about this book:
