Sig made a tac-ops 1911 with a threaded barrel. I ended up going with SIg 220 and getting a drop in threaded barrel. It's hard to find a good platform for 45acp to supress

Finding a threaded 1911 commander barrel lately that isn’t a small fortunate has been difficult. Government and full size have been easy though

I think it's a "Fudd" thing. I'm not hater of the older generation or anything. I just think manufacturers like Colt, Kimber and Springfield don't want to admit that suppressors are getting popular. And that supressing a older platform like the 1911 couldn't ever be popular.

Finally got some 147 gr 9mm in, so I had to go outside and see how quiet the hybrid is with the 9mm endcap. I must say, it sounded pretty good. Had a nice deep tone to it that wasn't bad on the ears at all, even with some 115 grain.

Started getting an idea of how I want to build a .50 cal and under suppressor for a .458 build. Machining baffles is such a slow and boring process. I’m not looking forward to it, and it’ll be stainless which makes it even more miserable
