that chrome is hideous, but cerakote could fix that. Man, ive got so many projects on the horizon, I really need to narrow them down. Or get paid more.

I have an early low serial number Universal M1 Carbine that is built with all USGI parts. Sadly, it is also factory chrome. It was my mothers so I am stuck with it as it is because I can't bring myself to do anything to it. I agree with you though, it is hideous.

Okay I admit I'm an M1 Carbine fan in all it's forms. A recent thread asked what gun a guy should leave at home for the wife. The M1C fits the bill. It's light, no recoil and easy to operate. Most people can one hand it. The last one I owned was an Inland reimport from Korea. But I would love a paratrooper or one of these Enforcers.
