GET SOME. Official NFA Pic thread.

I can’t decide what to buy next. Thinking about a sig mcx virtus in .300blk or just the upper conversion and run it on my 80 lower. I feel it’s necessary to own a .300 firearm if you own a can

Not to sound like a snob but shooting 300 and not owning a can is a waste of money

You are absolutely correct. It was designed to be suppressed. If you dont have a can you may as well save some money and shoot 7.62x39.

At the same time, having a can and not owning a .300blk is foolish, but not a waste. Still makes a big difference but certainly not as quiet. Which is why I need to get one, but I kind of want a sti staccato also.

Sig mcx conversion in a 9” .300blk is on the way along with sub ammo and some Lehigh defense extreme expansion which is also subsonic. Holosun 510c elite will be on top. That’s enough wallet hurting for one night.

Curious how this short stroke piston system will run. Never shot a mcx before

PSA lower/11.3 BA barrel, FF RAS Medium, will eventually wear a B5 SOPMOD, cherry bomb, diversified machine cherry bomb adapter and a turbo K. Going for that minimal gap look between the rail and can, should work out well.

While it looks cool, something I’ve learned is suppressors, a short barrel with tight clearance, and time a range results in toasty hands. I could barely hold onto mine the other day, I may start shooting with gloves
