So I decided to get my Form 1d Mossberg Shockwave threaded for chokes, it pattern really really well, going from a Mod choke to a Full shows a big big difference. If anyone else is considering this it's worth it. View attachment 2461356View attachment 2461357

So I currently have a Formed 1 shockwave with a Hogue Stock and a Magpul modified forend by GG&G (https://www.gggaz.com/magpul-forearm-for-mossberg-shockwave.html)

What stock and forend is this, where did you get it and did it fit without modification to the forend? This looks alot better than mine.

I takes a long time to get the forend cause it's coming from Thailand but it's really nice

My Form 1 Remington 870 Tac 14. Submitted 11/1, approved 12/3. Sent it to Josh at Cotton Branch Custom for a barrel chop/thread, Scattergun Technologies sights, W/C +1 extension, W/C oversized safety, Mesa picatinny rail, Mesa side saddle, OG Primos Jellyhead choke tube and Hogue stock set. Very happy with the setup. Barrel is flush with factory mag cap with regular chokes.

If I had to do mine again (I'm planning on it) I'd recommend the 870 direction (and I did the Mossberg). Few reasons, forend on the Mossberg is shorter than a standard 500 and the bolt comes with a firing pin spring stiffer than a Mack Truck suspension spring. I ended up using a older take out bolt from a 500 (different spring). Parts are more available for Remington's. And the forends are the same across 870 for the Tac 14 platform

Chokes make a huge difference on these platforms, I took mine out on a sporting clays course recently and was very impressed. You'll love it when it comes back
