Getting my first can, 300blk or 5.56?

I’m in between a can for 300blk or 5.56. I want something that’s going to hold up, be FA rated, and be somewhat affordable. Up to this point I’ve run surefire warcomps on most of my rifles so I’d prefer something compatible.

Get the 7.62 can. It will also work well on 5.56 and 6.8 if you need it.

Warden is compatible but the warcomps have different thread between the two calibers. You would need a muzzle brake for each caliber and the can is interchangeable.

30 cal multi can. Works on alot more than a 5.56 can. And 300bo is easy to shoot subsonic so works better with a can. 5.56 is hard to slow down to be under supersonic and perform well.

I'd put a Surefire SOCOM-50 on it. Plenty of room to suppress anything you you'd ever want.




On the other hand, I'd grab a Nomad L and call it a day.

Nomad L or similar if .30 is as large as you'll need.

I went 458 for my last can so I can run 44 MAG down to 556 (end cap changes of course).
