Glock 10mm Ammo Suggestions?

Just picked up a Glock 29 as a dedicated woods gun. I know nothing about 10mm other than it makes bigger holes. I’m aware shot placement is key. But I’d love to hear y’all’s opinions on the best round for bear/cougar defense when I’m in the woods.

I just got a 10mm that I haven't shot yet. Sig ammo was hotter (180gr @1250fps) than the Remington (1150fps I think) and $6 cheaper at Academy. These were FMJs, don't know what slug would be best for dangerous game. I'm sure someone will chime in shortly.

Underwood & Buffalo Bore make some potent 10mm ammo. I had a model 20 & went to a steel gun. Handles the load much better & my wrist thanks me!
