Glock 19c, cut or not to cut

I have a 19c gen 3 that I picked up fairly cheap, I'm interested in an rmr red dot setup since I have never had one

The S/N's first 3 digits are RMR.

I contacted glock and they said they won't.

What do you guys think?

A tone know a good Smith near Gainesville that would do the work well

If not, the powder might. I wouldn't want glass on top of a "C"

I've run a RMR on a C model with no issues. There isn't a huge BLAST like most people think. The RMR is built like a tank. There isn't much that will hurt it. I cleaned the glass front and back after every run like I do on any other RMR gun. Just my $.02

I don't remember there being much of a blast, I just remember cleaning a bunch of powder off the top after a couple boxes .
