Well, I've been to Ed's and what I have seen is a lot of picked over stuff ...
"Good Condition" would be stretching it a bit, and the prices were higher.
Actually went there twice upon the urgings of another ODT member ...
What's the old saying? "Fool me once, shame on you ... Fool me twice, shame on me!"
It's a long, long, long drive for a disappointment!

Cherokee currently does no-charge FFL transfers ... I have my Ga Carry Permit,
which makes it easier on them, but I really don't think they have any stipulations ... yet.

I always buy a couple of boxes of ammo from them, or something else just to show my appreciation.
Lots of times they can match or beat many deals here on ODT or elsewhere on the street,

lucky i guess i think last time i called ed they said $360+ for a G22 w/o NS
someone told me Cherokee had decent deals on ammo too can any one vouch for that?
honestly im used to a $25 ffl so spending money on ammo there is like getting free ammo for a long drive haha

Those who want more information on Cherokee: I recommend e-mailing or calling them.
They have always been responsive, helpful and polite when i have done so.
For those that still go to gun shows, they are normally there. Can their prices be beaten?
Yes, but usually not, and you can always make an offer or dicker with them.
That's why I no longer go to gun shows, it's easier to go directly to
them!
