Glock 42 trigger pulls itself!!!

I'm assuming that you have shot it yourself and everything operated fine . . .? ? Almost seems mechanically impossible. . .to be random at least . . .

Somehow the trigger is going to the rear and the striker safety block is not getting disengaged thus not firing in my holster. I'm not the original owner but it has had no mods done. trigger is 7.5lbs.

I have probably 350 rounds fired so far through it.

Do you mean you have a round in the chamber and the trigger is being activated (pulled) without the firing pin striking the round?

Yes, I keep one in the pipe. Over the last month; this is the 4th or 5th time I have unholstered the G42 and the trigger is to the rear with a round chambered.

Must be going to the rear without deactivating the striker safety.

I just don't have much time to go up there. I called and left a voicemail with tech support. I might try to get up there tomorrow afternoon if I can get out of work early.

This has happened 4 or 5 times and you're still carrying it? It's time to stop testing your luck. Make the time to take it in before you wind up in the ER or on the news. It needs to come out of rotation immediately.
