Glock 43 9mm or glock 42 .380???

Depends on what you already have, pick the one that will fit your needs best. As far as ammo goes, you can grab a box or two of 380 for now, then stock up when you catch it on sale, but it's not going to get as cheap as 9mm on sale. Also, the 43 is usually more expensive to begin with, so if offered either @ $250, the 43 would be the better deal.

I have both and use the 42 more for carry. The 42 can easily be used as a pocket pistol or IWB, but unless you have the pants with half your ass showing, the 43 is large for pocket carry. I don't shoot either much so ammo cost isn't an issue; IMO a 380 hollowpoint will get anyone's attention if needed for defense.

Like others say, if you have someone willing to sell either for $250 and you are of legal age; buy both.

Glock 43 all day unless you want to pocket carry and have small pockets then the 42.

They are very similar in size but the 42 is smaller.

9mm ammo is more effective and cheaper to shoot so you can practice more.
