Glock 43 9mm or glock 42 .380???

I own both and use them in different scenarios. I carry the 43 the majority of the time but do prefer the 42 when I have on lite clothing i.e. shorts and a t-shirt, I find the 42 much easier to conceal in these situations. The two firearms are similar enough that practice with the 43 carries over to the 42. That said I do shoot them both regularly I just shoot the 42 a fair amount less. In my opinion that is the advantage to buying more than one caliber weapon in the same platform, the controls and feel are similar enough to make them all effective in defense situation.

All that said for the price you say you can get them for I would definitely get them both.

The 43 has too much muzzle flip. The 42 works better for me and I can put good shots on target under stress . That’s why I chose it as my backup and it’s filled that slot for years now .

If I grab that then someone has my primary or it broke. So I really need that backup to perform and I shot the best with the 42 .
