Glock 43 announced

What is the weight unloaded? Thats a big determining factor for me.

Now with the specs out on the ss9. Which of you that have a g26 would get a 43 now? It seems almost the same in dimensions, just a bit thinner. Will the g43 fill a niche your 26 does not at the expense of 4 lessrounds for a lil thinner grip and 5 ounces lighter?

Yep, I switch between the G26 and G42, both in Cook's holsters - noticeable difference!
Yeah, I think there is a niche for it. 5 ounces lighter makes a big difference for carry. Mostly in terms of gym shorts kinda situations. Or other times when ya want some fire power but need it small and light forwhatever the situation may be. I really liked the feel of the 42 but wanted to wait for the less expensive more effective round. Looks like its here.

I was looking forward to it but now reviewing the specs I still can't see a justification. I love Glocks but it's still much longer and a tad taller than my Solo or Kahr CM9s. And the same capacity. If someone will come out with that size in .357 Sig I'll take one...maybe.
