It holds one more round than my XDS 45. I'm sticking with my SA.

The thing about this release is that it is yet another option. You don't have to buy it, but you CAN if you want. I will buy 1 for my wife, since she has been wanting a new carry gun. I may buy one for myself, if the urge strikes. For now, I will carry my 23 and be happy.

I like the 42, for all intents, but don't want a .380. I like that the 42 is the same size with a marginally longer slide (8mm)
