I wonder if the Glock 42 guys selling well over retail will drop to the $300 range to dump them.

I wonder if the Glock Flock will ever realize that the 42 and subsequent 43 is almost incontrovertible proof that Glock doesn't care what you want and that they just want your money.

Show me any company that isn't like that. You have 2 choices, take what a company will give you OR pay out the ass to get exactly what you want (custom guns).

Glock and Apple follow that same business model and they make so much money doing it. Marketing and business genius.

Huh? I only buy 9mm. So i ain't got no worries. Even told the fiancé that she NOT could get the 42 because of the caliber. Glad I held out.

With your thought process I guess you also disagree with apples way of doing business?

If anything, like apple. They are getting the impulse buys.

No one in the Apple community has been clamouring for a certain model for years upon years upon years that was easily doable by Apple only to have Apple release other, unwanted stuff. Glock has been able to make a single stack 9mm for years...the fact that they have chosen not to do so and still bilk money from their fan base tells me all I need to know about them. Anybody need their Kool-Aid topped off?

I see no problem here. They moved more units with the 42 doing it the way they did. I'm all about money so I can't get pissy about that. I don't need more kool- aid. I trust my glocks with mine and my families life. If I ever were to have a issue I drive 30 mins to get it fixed free. Life is beautiful.

Not really true. Apple has been pissing off customers for years by not allowing their products to perform tasks that other formats have been doing forever. Then Apple decides to add those abilities to their products as integrated applications and claim they are "cutting edge". It's all by design though.
