Glock 43 or Shield?

For this role, i would say consider a g42. More pocket friendly than both and VERY shootable. Loaded, its 5 ounces lighter than the 43. That makes a difference in gym shorts

I'm not a Glock guy but I love my G42. My Shield is with me all day but the G42 has its place. Pockets are def not Shield friendly.

I would say the 43 due to the size and the fact that you are already used to shooting Glocks. Both are good weapons but the Shield is a bit larger that the 43. The Shield can be bought for less money.

That said, we have both in my household and I would not hesitate to carry either.

I've owned both and sold both. I liked the trigger on the glock cause of the reset, although you can buy an aftermarket trigger for either or apex the shield. I did prefer the glock to the shield just because of it being smaller. I sold them both since I got a 19 and if I wanna carry smaller I will use my 27 or my wife's 42. I didn't have any issues with the trigger on mine, or wanting something more. Maybe its cause its a smaller set up. Idk, good luck my friend.

I really like my Shield.
But the 43 was a very pleasant surprise.

I've had both....Glock felt better(even better with Taran tactical +2's), but shot better with the shield! Either go shoot them both and decide which you like better, or buy both because they're both solid firearms!!

I've owned both the shield and Glock 43. While I'm at it I also owned a XDS 9mm and Ruger LCP. That said the Glock 43 is the only one I still have. Shield is a great tho I just like the 43 best
