Just my 2 cents here.
After looking at my stock Glock. The position of the slide to frame is controlled by the
lock up between the barrel under lug and the slide lock.
It does not appear that the spring has any thing to do with this problem.
Either the frame locating the slide lock or the barrel under lug is the problem.
Or the slide is that different in the dimension where the barrel locks in to it.
