The thing about fans is, you can always switch teams. Glock fans can become Sig fans at the drop of a hat if vicarious victories are really that important to them.

Switching team's since sig has the contract means sig price's will go up, most are too high now!

But they need to stay current with the market. Remember newness, and features turn the market! Not to mention something as simple as a color change makes buyers go crazy to have the newest!

I personally wish neither had won and it'd went to an American owned company.

That being said, I think the P320 met the requirements better than Glock so the win is understandable.

Yes I agree but...

How many LEO contracts do they have again? As far as newness, they do pop out a few models based on customer requests i.e. MOS, G42, G43, G36, G30s etc

And by keeping it simple and reliable they have helped OTHER Companies flourish like ZEV, Agency Arms, and Dobbs Defense with all of the Custom slide, color, stipple, parts swaps.
