A) you can never have too many lumens.

B) blinding yourself in your own house, where you know where everything is, is a training issue. Not an equipment issue.

C) go take some low light training.

I used to run around with some 100 lumen lights. Then I shot at night and learned how to do it. HOLY SNACKS98 I am now firmly in the "you can never have too many lumens" unless of course you're shooting under night vision
