What are the logistics of someone casting a glock frame out of aluminum/steel?

Hopefully in some cases the price is higher because of nice accessories or they are expect to barter.

I read one theory that high priced ads were posted so the seller can tell their spouse, "I listed it for sale, I just haven't found a buyer yet."
