Gloves

I wear gloves when handling or reloading ammo so as to not leave prints on the brass that leads to tarnish spots.

When working on equipment and machinery, I never wear gloves as I lose some feeling through the gloves. If I am worried about chemical exposure, I use a barrier cream on my hands and do not lose the tactile feel I need for the work.

eta: I glove up when cleaning deer and hogs.

Every so often I run across a guy in tacti-cool gear wearing tacti-cool gloves. Its understandable in cold weather but sometimes it looks like 102 in the desert.
Why?

Every so often Ill see a video of a person handling a firearm with latex gloves
(Not the White glove ultra rare items). Why?

Again, every so often Ill see a person cleaning a firearm while wearing gloves. This is kinda understandable because of lead but, Im not going to suck my fingers after cleaning. I dont wear gloves while cleaning. I wash my hands 2 or more times after till I think they are clean.
Do you wear gloves cleaning?

I never wear Gloves, expect in the military when changing out a M-60 Barrell, those get super hot. But, l did see a guy lose allot of skin at BullsEye gun range, he was shooting his rifle with surrpessor, he forgot grab the rifle all you heard was screaming and he left the range.

I generally don't wear gloves while shooting, but I found a pair of gloves that were distributed to the Rangers that are made by a whitewater rafting company. They're ranger green suede with a stretchy elastic back. They're grippy on a gun and offer some heat protection, but when they get wet, they're GRIPPY!!!! AF!!
