GM TRANNY REPLACED AND PROGRAM QUESTION

Can anyone tell me what’s involved in the programming of a new transmission in an 05 Hummer.

GM is rather serious about their computer controlled trannies. Either a high dollar transmission shop, or dealership.

I'm not very familiar. I know they say to not crank vehicle before its done. Also you normally have to pay for the subscription for the vin.
